Statement
:
the reaction of p-nitrophenol with di-methyl sulphonate [(CH3)2SO4] in the presence of NaOH, gives p-methoxy-nitrobenzene. After that the reduction of p-methoxy-nitrobenzene in the presence of metal [Sn] and HCl gives p-methoxy-aniline. Then the reaction of p-methoxy-aniline with urea [NH2-CO-NH2] yields p-anisyl-urea.
