SYNTHESIS  OF IBUPROFEN :

STATEMENT : acetylation of isobutyl benzene gives, P-isobutyl acetophenone then treatment with hydrocyanic acid (HCN) gives cynohydrine derivative.after that this substance heat with hydrogen iodied (HCN) in the presence of red phosphorus (P) it helps to reduce benzylic hydroxyl group, hydrolysis of CN- group into acid further gives final product is ibuprofen.

USES OF IBUPROFEN :

                   

·         Ibuprofen is a anti-inflammatory drug (બળતરા વિરોધી).

·         Anti pyratic (lowering the body temperature, when the body temperature has been raised above the normal temperature.)

·         Analgesic (work as a reduce pain).

·         It is also used for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis & osteo arthritis.

RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS (સંધિવા) Inflammation of joints.

OSTEO ARTHRITIS (અસ્થિવા) Bone cartilage reduced some times and very painfull.

  

·       SIDE EFFECTS OF USING IBUPROFEN :

·         It is cause some times internal bleeding and stomach pain.

·         It is increase risk for occur the diseases like stone and heart attack.

·         Overdose of ibuprofen some times damage internal organs (intestines) it is also very painful.

·         It is some happened to some times difficulty for urinating.

·         Burning of eyes , swelling fever , is a very common side effect of ibuprofen.

·         It makes difficulty for vision some times, and raised the weight of organ or body.

·         Causes of headache and nervousness.

·       SYMPTOMS OF OVERDOSE IBUPROFEN :

·       Irregularity in sleeping and deep breathing.

·       Irregularity in heartbeat.

·       Sweating.

·       It make bluish or yellowish skin or eyes some times.
